Vipers Enjoy Road Life

Valley Vipers collected their second straight road win Sunday afternoon as they look to climb the standings in the new Eastern Canadian Basketball League.

The Vipers downed the Saint John Union 113-109 at TD Station to improve their record to 4-7. The Union, meanwhile, dropped to 8-7.

Anthony Ottley led the Vipers with 25 points while Alex Muise had 21 and Tre Brewer chipped in with 20.

Mike Rodriquez answered with 39 points for the Union, who trailed 55-52 at halftime.

Chevon Brown added 22 points while London Hoxie and Kyle Arsenault each had 17.
League play resumes on Saturday, when the Charlottetown Power (7-7) visit the Vipers and the Bathurst Bears (2-10) host the Moncton Motion (5-6).
