Preferred Roofing Covers Sponsorship
Preferred Roofing co-owners Kelly and Rob Snelgrove have strong feelings about their community and the game of basketball. The Snelgroves are corporate sponsors of the new Eastern Canadian Basketball League and the Moncton Motion, who will begin playing games in late March.
“We always like to be involved in giving back to our community,” Kelly says. “It is important to give our support when our community supports us so strongly. “We need to have more pro sports – having a pro basketball team in Moncton gives more recognition to basketball in Canada,” she adds.
Preferred Roofing has always been a generous contributor. Through a radio contest, the company gave away a free roofing replacement job to a Greater Moncton family.
The league will announce its first player signings beginning February 1, and the inaugural regular season schedule will be available shortly after that, says league owner Ravi Verma.
Rob Snelgrove started Preferred Roofing with his father 15 years ago. Today, the company covers the Moncton area, including Hillsborough, Petitcodiac, Sussex and Richibucto as well as Charlottetown, Summerside and Cavendish on Prince Edward Island. Preferred Roofing is a Certified Select shingle master from CertainTeed and installs only industry-leading products with extensive warranties. The company offers roofing (asphalt, cedar), metal (siding/stone), Soffit and Fascia, and blown-in attic insulation.
