Beast of the East

Dion Albert and partner Julie Anne Lee have two intense dedications – basketball and their business, Adored Beast Apothecary, a dog health supplement company based in Moncton and Montana. They are bringing a similar approach as corporate sponsors of the new Eastern Canadian Basketball League, which begins play at the end of March.

“Basketball is life for our family,” Albert says. “I have a 16 year-old daughter playing for the Riverview High Royals and a 14 year-old son also playing for the Royals. “We would like to see a professional team thrive in Moncton so we would like to help any way we can,” he adds. “We are excited for the season to begin.”

Adored Beast has 25 employees in New Brunswick and nine in the United States. It’s products, which help pets naturally eliminate allergies and treat immune issues. Their products are available in Greater Moncton at Global Pet Foods and Bone & Biscuit. They can also be ordered and shipped quickly through the Adored Beast’s website as well as several other stores in Canada and the United States.

“We,” Albert says, “have the first licensed holistic vet in Canada formulating our products that helped animals for 20 years in her clinic.”

Among the Adored Beast’s products are: antioxidants, digestive enzymes, anti-inflammatories and phyto synergy nutritional supplements. Anyone interested in corporate sponsorships can contact:

Papa Johns

In 1984, Papa Johns Pizza started in the small town of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and its popularity has spread all the way to Atlantic Canada. Today, Papa Johns boasts over 3,600 restaurants and can be found in more than 35 international markets outside of the USA. In Atlantic Canada, we opened our first Papa Johns franchise in Moncton, operating under the name of PJ Atlantic Restaurants Ltd. in 2009. This was the first of many Papa Johns restaurants to be opening over the next few years to serve the Maritime provinces. We now have a dozen restaurants in the following areas:

639 Mountain Rd., Moncton

555 Dieppe Blvd., Dieppe

20 Plaza Ave., Saint John

528 Smythe St., Fredericton

133 McAllister Dr. Saint John

We believe in our brand’s heritage and commitment to quality. We believe that better ingredients really do make a better pizza.
